I never got to see them live and thought I never would. So when the news broke that they were going to re-issue their LPs in new vinyl editions&#8230;.and tour to promote them&#8230;..well, I was first in line for tickets! They did not dissappoint!<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-6080\" src=\"https:\/\/sleigh-munoz.co.uk\/quims\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/Screen-Shot-2019-07-10-at-21.02.37.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"714\" height=\"464\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Support band Tomaga are a duo who are heavy on the rhythms (amazing drumming) and ambient noodling with flashes of tunes that break into the hypnotic ramblings&#8230;.really &#8216;out there&#8217;&#8230;.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-6079\" src=\"https:\/\/sleigh-munoz.co.uk\/quims\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/Screen-Shot-2019-07-10-at-21.02.10.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"984\" height=\"453\" srcset=\"https:\/\/sleigh-munoz.co.uk\/quims\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/Screen-Shot-2019-07-10-at-21.02.10.png 984w, https:\/\/sleigh-munoz.co.uk\/quims\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/Screen-Shot-2019-07-10-at-21.02.10-768x354.png 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 984px) 100vw, 984px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Seeing <a href=\"https:\/\/stereolab.co.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Stereolab<\/a> live you realise how funky the bass is and how dancey most of their tunes are. Singer Laetitia Sadler reminded me of David Byrne in a lot of ways with her subtle dance moves (and boiler suit).
