There&#8217;d been so much sunshine in the weeks leading up to it that we didn&#8217;t even pack any wet weather gear&#8230;..a schoolboy error as rain and gale force winds hit on the Saturday night&#8230;. Thursday was blisteringly hot though and perfect for a Jamaican trip with some old school reggae&#8230;.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-5652\" src=\"https:\/\/sleigh-munoz.co.uk\/quims\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/IMG_5518-e1533853378199.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"637\" height=\"345\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&#8230;.then a late night beer at Molly&#8217;s Bar&#8230;.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_5654\" style=\"width: 445px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-5654\" class=\"size-full wp-image-5654\" src=\"https:\/\/sleigh-munoz.co.uk\/quims\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/IMG_5521-e1533853667267.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"435\" height=\"475\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-5654\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Subduction<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Thursday started with a 5ft long, one stringed bass thing from the Republic of Malawi, played with a drumstick and beer bottle &#8211; reminded me of the Ramones in it&#8217;s simplicity&#8230;<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_5655\" style=\"width: 521px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-5655\" class=\"size-full wp-image-5655\" src=\"https:\/\/sleigh-munoz.co.uk\/quims\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/IMG_5529-e1533854022389.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"511\" height=\"307\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-5655\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Gasper Nali<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Next to Mongolia for a Pogues-like party band &#8220;This is drinking song. Full of 50-something blokes (me included) jumping up and down like there was no tomorrow. Great bluegrass with a sense of humour. All playing barefoot, lead man Bobbie had the best mullet haircut I&#8217;ve seen in years.
